LSC Masters
Master Silvia Bazzarelli
Born in Brazil, Silvia is a Capoeira Master and choreographer and began studying Capoeira at the age of sixteen at the Movimentos school of Capoeira in Santos, which at the time was a branch of the Associação de Capoeira Senzala in Santos, São Paulo, Brasil. Master Silvia founded the London School of Capoeira in 1988.
In 1994 master Silvia was awarded the master belt by Gran Master Sombra, of the Associação de Capoeira Senzala. Master Silvia’s qualification is recognized by The Brazilian Confederation of Capoeira, São Paulo, Brasil.
Throughout her career, Master Silvia has performed and taught at some of Europe’s most prestigious venues, for numerous arts and cultural events, as well as taking part in television and film work.

Master Marcos dos Santos
Born in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, Master Marcos was introduced to Capoeira at the age of eight in Natal. He joined the Associação of Capoeira Senzala, Santos, São Paulo in 1984 at the age of twelve. In 1991 Master Marcos was invited by the London School of Capoeira to join the school as one of the directors.
In 2006 Master Marcos was awarded the master belt by Gran Master Sombra, of the Associação de Capoeira Senzala. Master Marcos’s qualification is recognised by The Brazilian Confederation of Capoeira, São Paulo, Brasil.
