Capoeira class for older children and young teenagers

These lessons are structured for the absolute beginner/newcomer to Capoeira and intermediate students. Lessons are taught with a fun approach and discipline!

How the lessons are taught:

The LSC masters have been teaching children in the UK for over 30 years. We have now reduced the number of lessons and now teach a small group of children, whose parents are Capoeira adult students. Capoeira for children at the LSCH, it is a class where students learn the art form, including the music and the game of Capoeira. The children develop their physical abilities and learn how to apply the movements learned in the game of Capoeira.

Visit: children and parents are welcome to visit the school and observe a session prior to committing to a course. The LSCH does not offer single lessons/trials but runs day courses of one hour every two months on Saturdays for new children.

The masters of the London School of Capoeira encourage the children during the Capoeira lessons to develop their physical abilities through the training of Capoeira. We teach Capoeira as a game of skill, creativity, fun, and discipline. The training will include:

• Capoeira warm-ups,

• Stretching,

• Basic Capoeira acrobatics,

• Turning kicks,

• Evasive movements,

• Mock-up Capoeira sequences and

• Capoeira games.
